The red petals, the sweet scent… everyone just loves roses. Making an origami rose is a fun way to create a rose through artwork. An added benefit of making an origami rose is that origami roses are much cheaper than actuall roses! Instead of buying someone a dozen roses, you can make them a dozen origami roses! They are sure to be much more impressed, and if you think your origami roses are lacking that fresh rose petal scent, you can always spray some perfume or something on them! But before you get too excited about learning how to make an origami rose, you have to remember that origami roses are a bit harder to make than any of the other origami pieces featured so far on this blog. But, they are perhaps the most beautiful origami yet to be featured on this blog, so I guess that is the trade off.
This video has step by step instructions to teach you how to make an origami rose. Learning how to create an origami rose is not too difficult, but it definately takes some practice. Don’t be dissapointed if your first rose does not come out perfectly, everything takes patience.

I lost you in the part where you make the triangular hearts pop out, your finger sort of covers it at the beginning of that step.
Also, on that particular step, could you use the folds that we already have a guidelines as to where exactly we need to fold/pop up to?
this is extremely hard on the 6 30 part. partly because of the bad video image but also because your hand blocked part of it, could you show that part more slowly and clearly please? everything following to that is awesome, thanks so much. :]
sorry i mean the part before that, around 6 minutes, just before. after the crosses show up and you have to tuck the piece under?
